About This Blog
Tired of Men…and other things that drive a twenty-something round the twist is the tale of a quirky Jamaican Chinese woman with a sometimes Irish accent, sometimes English accent, who has had more dodgy dates, boyfriends and chat-ups than she’s had hot dinners, often whilst tottering around on her beloved FMB's*. I write the blog because I'm fascinated by men and their entertaining and often bewildering quirks, plus I seem to have a lot of calamities and escapades that I wouldn't believe unless I wrote it down.
I juggle my bad taste with men, whilst living with a disease called sarcoidosis. At the time of writing this, I have had this inflammatory disease which affects my immune system and manifests itself in a variety of annoying ways throughout my body for almost 4 years. In August 2005, 2 months after coming off a year’s course of steroids and following that up with a flare up, I started doing kinesiology and then followed that up with acupuncture in February 2006 which has totally turned my illness around and given me a new lease of life and I have gone into remission. The blog has provided an outlet for highlighting my disease and also has brought me in contact with many other sufferers.
I also like to generally take the piss out of life, colleagues, stinking London commuters and my beloved friends and family and one day when I look back on this, I'll probably wonder why I haven't been locked away…
What makes someone start a blog? In my case, I read an article about blogging several months before I started up, filed it away for future reference and then forgot about it, till I went on yet another bad date with a Mr Nice Guy (otherwise known as PC Plod) who left me confused about dating and relationships as I stifled yawns and did almost all of the talking for the date. I woke up early the following morning and I felt compelled to start telling my tale. As I typed away I felt much better as I wrote down the hilarities of offending PC Plod with my piss-taking antics and explored my exasperation with the general female allergy to liking ‘Nice Guy’s’.
Prior to starting my blog, I had a chequered love life which consisted of a few dodgy boyfriends, multiple dodgy chat-ups and snogs, an ex-fiance now ‘fondly’ known as Mr Brown Suit, and a serious dose of unrequited love with Male Best Friend, who never did quite leave that girlfriend….Since starting my blog, I still have a chequered love life…and this blog has seen more ups and downs than a whore’s pair of knickers, but at time of writing this, I have achieved what I had become to believe was becoming a mighty feat, and I am loved up with the boyf in a proper relationship, living together and all that jazz.
I don't hate men, quite the contrary, but they're a strange species that entertain and bewilder me so often that I never run out of things to write about. I have contributed to several other blogs, and also run Baggage Reclaim, a no BS guide to single living, dating, relationships and man taming.

very good blogger site!.I’d like to exchange idea with you about your subject.and by the way, Can I introduce Bristol website to you:www.backachetherapy.co.uk Chinese pain relief acupuncture website to give you a wealth of information about back pain as well as educate you about Chinese backcare therapy. It is about Dr Han--Chinese exarmy hospital doctor,(TCM doctor)specialises in lower back pain relief (eg.sciatica),adopting acupressure massage therapy and acupuncture,he worked in China army hospital over 20 years as medical practitioner.if you like contact him, ring: 0117 9741199. Natural Health Clinic,39 Cotahm Hill,Bristol,BS6 6JY.(Bristol Alternative and complementary medicine)
What do you think about it? Something as follow:
Chinese acupuncture practitioner had almost been accused for website’s ads in Bristol
Dr Zhentong Han is a Chinese registered acupuncturist with twenty years of clinical experience. He is very popular among the patients in the area with outstanding technique. The appointments for him in the clinic in Bradford were always full, however, at Bristol, another place where he set up his business; there were troubles from the competitions in the same field.
It started at the acupunctural website of Dr Han(http://www.backachetherapy.co.uk), which occupied the NO.1 place in a international websites about acupuncture (http://www.passion-4.net/tables/Acupuncture.html). Because of the large number of patients attracted by this website which introduced traditional Chinese acupuncture for backache therapy, and top position in yahoo and google. it caught great attention of other businesses in the same field in a very short time. Some practitioner even registered company names using key words about acupuncture , and notified Dr Han and other practitioners to stop using the some key words for advertising the website. Or else they would probably be charged by the law.
Dr Han claimed that he regretted deeply for the matter, but he didn’t want to get involved in this legal dispute, for the purpose of having a website is not to score high on the network, but to have more patients understand the most veracious Chinese traditional acupunctural techniques through his website, so to help more patients get rid of the pain.

Hello. Prompt how to get acquainted with the girl it to me to like. But does not know about it
I have read through one history
Each of you has your personal story; it is your history. Keeping a diary or writing your feelings in a special notebook is a wonderful way to learn how to think and write about who you are -- to develop your own identity and voice.
People of all ages are able to do this. Your own history is special because of your circumstances: your cultural, racial, religious or ethnic background. Your story is also part of human history, a part of the story of the dignity and worth of all human beings. By putting opinions and thoughts into words, you, too, can give voice to your inner self and strivings.
A long entry by Anne Frank on April 5, 1944, written after more than a year and a half of hiding from the Nazis, describes the range of emotions 14-year-old Anne is experiencing:
". . . but the moment I was alone I knew I was going to cry my eyes out. I slid to the floor in my nightgown and began by saying my prayers, very fervently. Then I drew my knees to my chest, lay my head on my arms and cried, all huddled up on the bare floor. A loud sob brought me back down to earth, and I choked back my tears, since I didn't want anyone next door to hear me . . .
"And now it's really over. I finally realized that I must do my school work to keep from being ignorant, to get on in life, to become a journalist, because that's what I want! I know I can write. A few of my stories are good, my descriptions of the Secret Annex are humorous, much of my diary is vivid and alive, but . . . it remains to be seen whether I really have talent . . .
"When I write I can shake off all my cares. My sorrow disappears, my spirits are revived! But, and that's a big question, will I ever be able to write something great, will I ever become a journalist or a writer? I hope so, oh, I hope so very much, because writing allows me to record everything, all my thoughts, ideals and fantasies.
"I haven't worked on Cady's Life for ages. In my mind I've worked out exactly what happens next, but the story doesn't seem to be coming along very well. I might never finish it, and it'll wind up in the wastepaper basket or the stove. That's a horrible thought, but then I say to myself, "At the age of 14 and with so little experience, you can't write about philosophy.' So onward and upward, with renewed spirits. It'll all work out, because I'm determined to write! Yours, Anne M. Frank
